- Click the Start button.

- Click on your profile icon.

- Select Change account settings.  

-  Open the user account profile picture default folder.

    To do this, click “Browse” under your picture.
    In the File Explorer address bar, paste this address: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\User Account Pictures. Then press ↵ Enter or click on the right arrow key.



- Choose the default account picture to replace your current one. Then click on "Choose picture".

- Review the results. Your picture will not be shown on the logon screen or your account profile anymore.

    Your picture can still be seen in your account settings because your picture is still stored in your user account folder. So, next you need to delete your picture from that account folder.





- Open the File Explorer. Paste this address into the address bar: %appdata%\Microsoft\Windows\AccountPictures, and then press ↵ Enter.

Delete the picture. Find the picture in this folder, right-click on it, and then select "Delete". 


- That's it! Now you won't see your picture in the account settings anymore.
